The Sephora VIB Sale, probably four of my favorite words. Like every other person who has ever shopped at Sephora, I GEEK OUT when they announce their sale. I’ve worked super hard (and blew a lot of paychecks) to earn VIB Rouge status and Lord help me if I’m not going to use it.
Even if there’s something I’m not needing when the sale rolls around, I always manage to find something to add to my beauty and skin/hair care collection. I’m really excited for the things I picked out because it’s all new things I’ve never used before, and they all had reeallllyyyyy good reviews on the website. Everything I got from the sale is linked below, and I’ve also added my thoughts on the products I’ve been able to try out.
I tried this primer out for the first time this weekend, and I really liked it. It had a very light scent that smelled soooooo good, and it was really cool using the scraper tool to get the primer out of the container. It’s a little pricey, but a little goes a long way with this stuff.
I haven’t had the chance to use it just yet, but all the reviews on Sephora’s website were amazing. It’s a great mask to use after a long plane ride, or just when your skin needs a little extra hydration boost. I haven’t had the chance to try it yet, but I’ll share an update on Instagram when i do and let you know my ~opinion~.
I bleach my hair. Even though I get it done professionally at a salon (SHOUTOUT TO KARLI ROBBINS AT TEASE), it still needs to me super maintained after my salon visit to keep it hydrated and healthy. My stylist uses Olaplex when she mixes up my hair bleach coctail to protect my hair from breakage, and I use this bad boy about once a week to keep my hair healthy. I stopped using this stuff for a while for whatever reason, but I bought some again during the sale and oh boy I’m glad I did. Along with the Olaplex conditioner (linked below), this stuff makes my hair so soft and feel so strong, If you bleach your hair even the littlest amount, buy this stuff and don’t look back.
I have used this conditioner twice already, and I love it. My hair is typically super frizzy, and while it doesn’t eliminate all frizz, I can really tell a difference! My hair is smoother, and my hair feels so strong. My favorite part of it through, is the smell. It’s not strong at all, but after working it into your hair you begin to pick up on a light smell that is so yummy. It’s a very thick conditioner, so definitely store it upside down to make it easier when squeezing it out of the bottle.
Drybar – House Favorites
In one of my previous hair care posts, I talked about how much I love On The Rocks clarifying shampoo for getting all the gunk and product out of my hair. When I saw that this was included in one of the 500 point rewards, I scooped it up at check out FOR NO EXTRA COST. It includes their On The Rocks shampoo and conditioner, Detox dry shampoo, and Prep Rally prime and prep spray. I’m excited to try to conditioner and dry shampoo, but I’m already tried the Prep Rally detangler and hair primer, and it was awesome. It had a light and fresh fragrance, and let my hair feeling super smooth and a great base for whatever style fit my ~vibe~.
