For me, skincare is one of those things that is ever changing. I’m always looking for new ways to improve my skin and help reduce breakouts. I didn’t suffer from acne growing up, but as an adult, it’s become a problem. I tend to breakout mostly around my cheeks and chin, let me know if you can relate.
I invest in my skin. My theory is, if you skin looks good, makeup wears better, not wearing makeup isn’t as “big of a deal”, and your life is just better overall…well at least mine is. I used to spend a ton on skincare. Kiehl’s was my go to brand for about the past year and a half, then I moved onto Rodan and Fields Unblemish line this Summer. I was loyal to Keihls, and I really did like Rodan and Fields (I still use one of the products in my current skincare routine!), but in an effort to save money and still have my skin look it’s best I went back to an old high school favorite, Cetaphil. Cetaphil is cheap, and along with my daily skin vitamin it’s really been working for me. My skin has been looking so great lately, my mother interrogated my when I saw her this past weekend on what I was doing for my skin because it was looking THAT GOOD.
Below is what I’m currently using on my face, I’ll keep you updated if anything change down the line.
THESE GUMMIES HAVE CHANGED THE GAME. Not only do they taste great, but I really think these are 50% of the reason my skin has been looking so great lately. If you don’t have them now, click the link, order them, and thank me later.
I know and love the regular Cetaphil face wash, but when I saw this in Target I knew I had to try it. I have pretty oily skin, so it makes sense that a foam face wash is working. There isn’t a strong fragrance, and it feels really nice going on the skin.
Rodan & Fields: Unblemish Step 3
I don’t have a link for this because you should only be purchasing these products through and authorized seller. I was using the entire regimen, but when I started running low is when I decided to go back to Cetaphil products to save some money. I loved this regimen when I was using it though! This dual intensive treatment feels so nice putting on, and it soaks in quickly so you don’t have to wait too long before applying your face lotion. *If you’re interested in trying Rodan & Fields, let me know! I’ll hook you up with my friend who sells it.
This is the only Kiehl’s product I’m still using, and it’s one of my current favorites. This cream is super moisturizing, and has the ever important SPF which you NEED in a day time moisturizer. I use a different, less expensive one at night.
Obviously, I use a different cream at night than I do during the day. I don’t think sleeping with SPF on your skin would be that great for it. This night cream isn’t heavy at all, is very moisturizing, and does some technology stuff that makes your skin nicer or something. Not really sure what’s happening there, but I’ve been really happy with this night cream!
If you’ve checked out my last skin care post, you know I was super torn between two different eye cream. Well after I ran out of the one I was using at the time, and when I was looking for face wash, I saw this eye cream and thought it’s worth a shot. I do like it, and I really can’t tell a difference between this and the other expensive brands I was using. I’m probably going to keep using this because the price is right, and I really do like how it feels when applied.
