I love my job, and 50% of why I love my job is because of the RELAXED dress code. When I say relaxed, I mean I am allowed to wear athleisure which I take full advantage of. Nothing better showing up in your most comfortable Lululemon leggings, amirite people?
I don’t put a lot into my hair & makeup going into the office. I feel ample confident without makeup, and I don’t feel like my ability to look “womanly” defines my performance in the workplace nor how serious I am in my career. Also, I’m unable to do a quick casual 5 minute face, it’s either no makeup or full on ~glam~. Most days, it’s only moisturizer, and then something quick I can do with my hair so I look somewhat put together. I’m sharing with you wonderful people my favorite lazy girl hairstyles that are my go to’s in the mornings.
I am HERE for a top knot. It’s quick, it looks put together, and your hair is no where near your face during the day. Even if I wear my hair down there’s a 90% chance it will wind up in a top not before lunch. The video below is pretty much the same way I do mine, and does a great job at breaking it down so even the ladies with the shortest attention span will still be able to get it.
French braids are CLASSY AF. When I wear a french braid, I feel like I’m a princess sitting at my cubicle. It also reminds me of being in elementary school and my mom braiding my hair while I scream cried because I’m so tender headed. My roommate taught me how to french braid my own hair last year (SHOUTOUT TO MADISON), and I haven’t looked back. This video below will show you the ropes and have you on your way to that #braidlife!
This is my go to if I have straight hair from the day before going into a workday. I’ll pack a ton of my favorite dry shampoo into my gorgeous blonde locks, and throw this baby up on my head. Unlike in the video, I don’t wrap a small piece of hair over the hair doodle, because I honestly don’t care of it shows or not.
I have naturally wavy hair, so this hairstyle is one of my go-to’s on day’s it’s in its natural state. I wear a headset at my job, and this is perfect for keeping my hair out of my face along with looking cute under my headset.
What are some of your favorite go-to hairstyles that are easy for lazy ladies?
